Cardiology RNs treat patients who suffer from heart and vascular diseases. They will frequently educate patients on adapting to new lifestyle methods and preventative measures in order to further minimize pulmonary and cardiovascular risks.
As a Cardiology Registered Nurse your duties include:
Conducting varying health assessments and providing the needed care based on assessment results.
Analyzing and documenting the patient’s vascular and cardiac patterns, plus logging EKG results.
Informing patients and their family members on how to handle heart disease, while providing patients emotional support.
One year of experience as a Cardiology nurses within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
