A CVOR Registered Nurse evaluates and executes necessary health care for cardiovascular patients before, during, and after surgery. CVOR RN play an key role in helping physicians during different types of procedures in the cardiovascular operating area.
As a Cardiovascular Operating Room RN your duties include:
Ensuring a sterile and safe surgical environment for patients.
Assessing patient’s condition.
Carrying out patient care plans.
Helping surgeons during procedures to ensure that medical devices are functioning properly.
Overseeing the condition of the patient during and after the operation.
Educating the patient and their family about ongoing needs and care of the patient to make certain they quickly recover and do so comfortably.
One year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
