The Rehabilitation RN is responsible for assisting patients with long-term physical disabilities or chronic diseases. Rehab RN help patients and their families to develop a care plan that will allow the patient overcome any boundaries and reach their full potential.
As a Rehab Nurse your duties include:
Educating patients and their families about disease, injuries and skills needed to care for themselves.
Assisting patients exercise and record their progress.
Teaching patients how to adjust to temporary or permanent disabilities.
One year of experience as a Rehab Registered Nurse within the past two
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
