Emergency Room Registered Nurses assist patients who are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Nurses need to have the ability to immediately identify life-threatening complications while remaining calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room RNs your duties include:
Managing time and having the ability to make quick, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are stable and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
Giving medications while checking for any allergies to prevent complications.
Rapidly take vitals and other samples if needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
