Emergency Room Nurses provide care for patients who are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Room RNs need to have the ability to quickly identify life-threatening complications while staying calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room RNs your duties include:
Managing time and having the ability to make fast, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are in stable condition and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
Providing prescribed medications while reviewing their records for any allergies to prevent problems.
Rapidly obtain vitals and other samples as necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
