The Rehabilitation RN is responsible for helping patients with long-term physical disabilities or chronic diseases. Rehabilitation RN help patients and their family members to create a recovery plan that will help the patient work past any boundaries and reach their full potential.
As a Rehab Registered Nurse your responsibilities include:
Providing information to patients and their family members about disease, injuries and self-care skills.
Helping patients exercise and track their progress.
Teaching patients how to adapt to temporary or permanent disabilities.
One year of experience as a Rehabilitation RN within the past two
