The Rehab Nurse is responsible for helping patients with long-term physical disabilities or chronic diseases. Rehab Registered Nurse work with patients and their families to assemble a care plan that will allow the patient work past any boundaries and reach their full potential.
As a Rehabilitation Registered Nurse your responsibilities include:
Teaching patients and their families about disease, injuries and self-care skills.
Assisting patients exercise and record their progress.
Teaching patients how to adapt to temporary or long-term disabilities.
One year of experience as a Rehab Registered Nurse within the past two
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
