Emergency Room RNs help people that are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Room Nurses need to have the ability to rapidly identify life-threatening problems while staying professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room RNs your duties consist of:
Managing time and having the ability to make fast, accurate assessments.
Ensuring patients are stable and managing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Supplying prescribed medications while reviewing their records for any allergies to prevent complications.
Quickly obtain vitals and other samples as necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
