Emergency Room RNs help patients that are experiencing critical injuries or trauma. Emergency Room Nurses need to be able to immediately identify life-threatening complications while keeping calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room RNs your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and having the ability to make fast, accurate assessments.
Making certain patients are stable and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
Providing prescribed medications while reviewing their records for allergies to prevent complications.
Quickly obtain vitals and other samples as needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room RN within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
