Emergency Room RNs provide care for people who are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Room Registered Nurses need to have the ability to quickly identify life-threatening problems while keeping calm and professional.
As an Emergency Nurses your duties include:
Managing time and possessing ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Making certain patients are in stable condition and reducing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Giving medications while checking for allergies to prevent problems.
Quickly take vitals and other samples as necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency room nurse within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
