The Rehabilitation RN is responsible for helping patients with their physical disabilities or chronic diseases. Rehabilitation Nurse work with patients and their family members to assemble a recovery plan that will help the patient get past any boundaries and reach their full potential.
As a Rehab Nurse your responsibilities include:
Teaching patients and their family members about disease, injuries and skills needed to care for themselves.
Assisting patients exercise and record their progress.
Educating patients how to live with temporary or permanent disabilities.
One year of experience as a Rehabilitation RN within the past two
