Emergency Room Nurses assist patients that are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Room RNs need to be able to quickly identify life-threatening problems while remaining calm and professional.
As an Emergency Nurses your duties include:
Managing time and having the ability to make quick, accurate assessments.
Ensuring patients are in stable condition and reducing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Supplying prescribed medications while checking for allergies to prevent complications.
Rapidly take vitals and other samples if necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
