Emergency Nurses provide care for people that are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Nurses need to be able to quickly identify life-threatening problems while staying professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room Registered Nurses your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and having the ability to make rapid, accurate assessments.
Ensuring patients are in stable condition and managing any pain in an intense setting.
Giving prescribed medications while reviewing their records for allergies to prevent complications.
Quickly take vitals and other health samples if needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency nurse within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
