Emergency Room Registered Nurses provide care for patients that are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Room Nurses need to be able to rapidly identify life-threatening complications while keeping calm and professional.
As an Emergency Nurses your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and possessing ability to make quick, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are in stable condition and reducing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Providing medications while checking for any allergies to prevent complications.
Rapidly obtain vitals and other health samples when needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
