Emergency Room Nurses assist patients who are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Room RNs need to have the ability to quickly identify life-threatening problems while keeping professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room Registered Nurses your duties consist of:
Managing time and having the ability to make quick, accurate assessments.
Making certain patients are in stable condition and reducing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Supplying medications while checking for any allergies to prevent problems.
Rapidly obtain vitals and other samples if necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency nurse within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
