Emergency Room Nurses assist people who are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Nurses need to have the ability to rapidly identify life-threatening complications while staying calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room RNs your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and possessing ability to make fast, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are in stable condition and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
Giving prescribed medications while checking for any allergies to prevent problems.
Rapidly obtain vitals and other samples as needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
