Emergency Room Nurses assist patients that are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Room Nurses need to be able to immediately identify life-threatening problems while remaining professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room Nurses your duties consist of:
Managing time and having the ability to make fast, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are in stable condition and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
Providing medications while reviewing their records for allergies to prevent problems.
Quickly obtain vitals and other samples as needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
