The Catherization Lab RN assists medical staff in the analysis and treatment of cardiac conditions. Cath lab nurses are responsible for preparing the patient for their examinations, and give emotional and physical support to the patient.
Greater than 5 years exp in cath lab, MUST BE ABLE TO SCRUB STEMI!, Hours and call to be discussed at interview. ACLS, BLS,
As a Catheterization Lab RN your duties consist of:
Monitoring the patient’s vital signs before, during and after procedures.
Giving and recording medication.
Providing treatment as needed.
Assisting the physicians perform varying procedures such as stent placements.
One year of experience as a Cath Lab RN within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
