Emergency Nurses assist people that are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Room Registered Nurses need to be able to rapidly identify life-threatening problems while staying professional and calm.
As an Emergency Room Registered Nurses your responsibilities include:
Managing time and possessing ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are in stable condition and managing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Giving medications while checking for allergies to prevent complications.
Rapidly take vitals and other samples as needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
