Emergency Room RNs help people who are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Nurses need to have the ability to immediately identify life-threatening complications while staying calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room RNs your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and possessing ability to make fast, accurate assessments.
Making certain patients are in stable condition and managing any pain in an intense setting.
Giving prescribed medications while checking for allergies to prevent complications.
Rapidly take vitals and other samples as necessary.
One year of experience as an Emergency room RN within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
