Emergency Room Nurses provide care for people who are experiencing critical injuries or trauma. Emergency Nurses need to be able to rapidly identify life-threatening problems while remaining calm and professional.
As an Emergency Room Nurses your responsibilities consist of:
Managing time and having the ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Ensuring patients are stable and managing any discomfort in an intense setting.
Supplying medications while checking for allergies to prevent complications.
Quickly obtain vitals and other samples when needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room nurse within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
