Emergency Room Nurses help people that are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Room Registered Nurses need to be able to quickly identify life-threatening problems while remaining professional and calm.
As an Emergency Nurses your responsibilities include:
Managing time and having the ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
Making sure patients are stable and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
Giving medications while reviewing their records for any allergies to prevent problems.
Quickly take vitals and other samples if needed.
One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
