Radiology RN are responsible for patients undergoing diagnostic and radiation imaging procedures. Radiology Nurses have to be very technologically educated and comfortable using and reading the radiology equipment.
As a Radiology RN your responsibilities consist of:
Checking and watch patient’s vitals before, during and after procedures.
Giving medications based on the physician’s instructions and track results.
Providing comfort and support for patients and their families who are concerned about procedures.
One year of experience as a Radiology Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
