Cheyenne City is host of the premier country-western event, Cheyenne Frontier Days. For 10 days every summer, over 300,000 people come to Cheyenne from all over the U.S.A.. , Cheyenne Frontier Days is the world's largest outdoor rodeo and western celebration.  Entertainment includes the most popular acts in country music and comedy, a midway, wild west shows and much more.  

Many other great towns are scattered across Wyoming.  Jackson, WY sits beside the Grand Tetons National Park and just south of Yellowstone.  Jackson is the playground to the rich and famous and you'll find great restaurants, galleries, unique shops and fantastic entertainment options.  On the eastern side of Yellowstone is Cody, WY.  Named after Buffalo Bill Cody, Cody is full of western culture and fun.  There is a nightly rodeo in the summer, opportunities for horseback riding, river rafting, fishing and it's a a great home base to explore the wildlife and thermal features of Yellowstone.  But Cody also has a great selection of restaurants and shopping too.

Do you like to commune with nature?  There is not better way than soaking in a hot springs and Wyoming has some of the best.  On the western side of the state is Granite Hot Springs with a large concrete pool in a natural setting.  No matter where you are in Wyoming, there is probably a hot springs nearby.

In the winter, Wyoming has fantastic skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing.  Believe it or not, winter is one of the best times to explore Wyoming's natural beauty via snowmobile or snowcoach.  With a snowmobile, you can explore the mountains and even visit Yellowstone's spectacular geysers while the roads are closed.  From a snowmobile in winter, Wyoming looks much like it did hundreds of years.
